Ingredients Coffee Bread:

1 package dry yeast
3/4 cup warm water
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp salt
2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
1/4 cup soft butter
1 egg

Ingredients Streusel Topping:
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1/3 cup brown sugar
2 tbs all purpose flour
2 tbs ground cinnamon
2 tbs soft butter

Spray a square 8 or 9 inch baking pan with cooking spray. In a mixing bowl, stir together streussel topping ingredients and set aside.

In large mixing bowl, combine yeast, 1/4 cup sugar, salt, 1 cup of the flour, and the warn water; beat thoroughly 2 minutes. Add 1/4 cup soft butter and the egg, then gradually mix in remaining flour until smooth.

Drop small spoonfuls of dough over entire bottom of pan. Sprinkle with the streussel topping. Cover, and let rise in a warm place for 50 to 60 minutes or until doubled in size.

Heat oven to 375°F. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until brown. Immediately turn bread out of pan onto serving dish, and serve warm.
